Drop KL invites donors to participate in last leg of FundRace for SPCA Selangor

February 28th, 2018 Kuala Lumpur – In celebrating the auspicious Year of the Earth Dog, co-organisers Drop Bar & Lounge Sdn Bhd (Drop KL) and Go International Group Dotcom Sdn Bhd invite contributions from the general public at the last leg in support of the Society for the Prevention of Animals (SPCA) Selangor ‘Stray Free Selangor’ campaign which ends on the last day of Chinese New Year this 2nd of March. RM7500 has been raised so far.

Donations of RM388 and above will receive one RM100 SPCA voucher^ and one RM100 dining voucher* to dine at the brand new Modern American restaurant and bar, Drop KL The Terraces, TREC.

This novel FundRace campaign was inspired by SPCA Legal Advisor Ms. Chan Mo Lin and was conceptualised by Jasmine Low of experiential creative agency, GoInternationalGroup.com. It kicked off on January 10th with a 6-course fundraising dinner that raised RM7500 so far with food and drink sponsored by Modern American restaurant and bar Drop KL (soon to open at The Terraces, TREC) in collaboration with venue host RUYI & Lyn in BSC. Notable guests at the dinner included group managing director / CEO The Star Media Group Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai and Datin Seri Florence Wong, June Wong COO of The Star Media Group, SPCA Chairman Christine Chin-Radford, SPCA Celebrity Ambassador The Platters singer Donne Ray Radford and SPCA Legal Advisor Ms. Chan Mo Lin, Lyn Siew proprietor of RUYI&Lyn and Alison Christ GM of Drop KL.
